Problem with a lot o fthings . com

I bought a set of G&G cartridges from a lot of things . com. they
arrived on time and in good shape. I put them into my Canon IP5000.
The color match was satisfactory and they printed fine. A couple days
later I tried to print with them and the output was very poor. I took
the cartridges out and they were 1/4 to 1/2 empty in spite of having
printed only a dozen or so pages. The bottom of the print head was
dripping with wet ink. The cartridges do not leak outside the printer,
only when installed. A different set of cartridges caused the
printer to act normally. I emailed the support as given on their web
page to ask what the problem was. In three days no response or
bounced email. This contrasts with the one hour response time when I
placed the order.

You never know what kind of ink is in them and it can change at any
time. There really needs to be full disclose legislation passed to
protect consumers in this area.

That is why I rely on Canon OEM ink carts. I guess you get what you pay for

I am not surprised. Now Canon Tech Support is always there and is very
good. HP was not bad in the past but I have not had any need to call
them in years. The printer and ink carts have been very reliable.
