Hi

I have win xp on primary sata disk. I installed vista on secondary sata disk
which took over boot from win xp on primary disk and among other things
created a boot folder with many sub folders. I have since wiped vista from
secondary disk and fixed mbr and boot records on xp primary disk. Problem is
that I am unable to delete vista boot folder on primary disk which is no
longer needed as far as I can tell. How can I get rid of this folder?

Thanks

Regards

What happens when you try?

Says 'Can not delete bootmgr.exe.mui: Access denied. Make sure disk is not
full or write protected...'.

Thanks

Regards.

You need to seize ownership of this file or of the whole folder
where it resides. If unsure how to do this, click Start / Help,
then look for help on "Ownership".

It may also be necessary to remove the read-only and the
system file attribute. You can do this while in Explorer or in
My Computer.
