Problem while running applet in IE6.0

Hi
I am facing a problem while running a HTML page which
contains applet on WinXP Professional Edition, as soon as
I open the HTML page, my all IE instances automatically
shut down, even though I have enabled the Java Settings
in my browser.
Please help me out.
