I'm running XP pro sp1 with all updates.
Lately, when I'm starting certain progs, I get this error message:
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \device\Harddisk0\DR0"
I then have the option to cacel, try again or continue. When I push cancel, the programs start as normal.
This is getting rather annoying! The programs in question are all installed on the HD.
Can someone please help with this?

try using a rgistry cleaner/fixxer the run the program

Have done that, but did't fix it...

Jon,

See if any of these apply:

Thanks for answering! One of the links refered to a user with his HD not set as device 0. The same happens here; I have a firewire memorycard-reader installed, and I noticed that the ports on this is listed as device 0 and device 1, whereas my HD is listed as device 2. Should I uninstall the cardreader via Device Manager, to see if things get better when the reader is re-installed at next startup? (ie that the HD is given device no.0?)

One more thing: How do you clear out the "Recent" folder in your user profile?
