Problem When Recording To DV Camera

I created a video in WMM and then recorded it to my DV camera. The problem is, when I play it back it the video and audio are choppy. At first I thought I was because people were doing stuff on the computer while it was being recorded, so I told everyone to stay off while I tried re-doing it. It's still choppy though. I've tried closing all running programs and keeping everyone off the computer while it records, but so far none of that has worked

Another thing, when it gets to about 50% it's starts playing on the DV camera. Is it supposed to do that?

You'll need a fast CPU (usually over 1Ghz) and as little as possible running
in the background... this includes stuff such as Seti at Home and anitivirus
software running in real time.... oh, and yes, people using your PC for
other things.

Disable the antivirus (but remember to re-enable it afterwards).... unload
the Seti at Home... stop the Outlook Express/Outlook (or however you get
your mail)... etc etc.

Export the video to the camera, and go away to have dinner... or go to bed.
Leave a BIG notice on the PC.... "DO NOT TOUCH" or similar....

So the Anti-virus program absolutely has to be disabled?

Well since you're not going to be doing anything like opening email or
surfing the web while you're writing to DVD, yes, it is best to disable it.
It should be re-enabled as soon as possible after the disk is burned.

Many antivirus softwares have a 'snooze' feature which will disable them for
an amount of time, then they will re-enable themselves after the set time.
