problem when opening a website which has popups

whenever i visit a website which has pop ups it displays
the message "a pop up window was blocked", please advise
on the solution.

This means you have a pop-up blocker on or you have a
toolbar on that blocks pop-ups.

Check your firewall and anti-virus for options to block popups or scripting.
