I can not view powerpoints from websites. I have ppt on my computer and have
no trouble viewing presentations that I make. When I try to view a
powerpoint from a website I am prompted to "open". When I click on open it
seems as though it is going to open, but it doesn't. I have Windows xp. Any
ideas of what my problem might be? Thanks

Possibily your browser's security settings.

Instead of choosing Open, choose Save. Save the file to someplace convenient
like your Windows desktop, then open it from there.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, I can view it if I click "Save" instead of "Open". This
is something that has just recently changed. Before I did not have to "save"
it. I could just "Open". I agree, I think it may be a security setting. I
just can't find anything to change that would allow me to just "Open".
Thanks again.
