Problem Using Word as Outlook Editor

Sometimes when i write a mail using word as outlook editor, the sistem stop
and keep searching something, please how can i do to fix this problem?.

What is it searching? Is there any msg? Since you are using Word as the
e-mail editor, you may want to check under Options in Word.
 
Thank you Dan, the problem happen when i am writing the mail, the sistem
begin to search i don't know what, and keep in that way, when i try to close
the screen, windows show me a WINWORD erro. I am using MS and Win XP.
 
Not sure which version of Word you are using. If you are using an older
version of Word such as Word 97, it comes loaded with an indexing feature
called, "FindFast" which runs in the background and can slow down your PC. It
may seem to do some search with your hard drive chugging along. You can try
pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del, then select Task Manager to see what processes are
running. If it is Find fast, disable it and also you can disable Indexing.
There are also other possibilities like spywares, anti-virus program running
and such that can seem to do some search but not.
 
thank dan, i going to try it, my windows and office version is XP, maybe
there is a process that is causing that problem.
