problem using microsoft internet explorer

I have a problem with Microsoft internet explorer while using windows
OS. I run a macintosh and usually use netscape or mozilla browser and
have set up my site to reflect that. I recently upgraded my site to
conform to exact w3c standards and even upgraded it to xhtml. I wanted
to show my boss at work but when he loaded it, all he got was an error
message telling him he can't view the document. When I checked further,
it appears that everybody using microsoft internet explorer while
running microsoft windows cannot load the window but my macintosh
version of internet explorer can read it flawlessly as well as Apple's
browser (safari). Would somebody at Microsoft get the internet
explorers fixed so they can work with

please be warned that it's mainly a private only site where i store
stories for reading later and the address shouldn't be viewed by folks
under the age of 18. since it's meant to be a private site, no warnings
are there (also you're going to go to the main page instead of the page
that redirects you there)

This is meant mainly to notify MS of a bug that NEEDS to be addressed.
If you want to view the page, download and install mozilla or firefox
from http://www.mozilla.org/ that browser is much better and is also free.

The error message implies fairly clearly what you would need
to change to avoid it. And that change would presumably be
compatible with all the other browsers. Have you tried that?
What happens then?
