Problem trying to repair Vista Ultimate

When I boot from the Vista installation disk and click on repair, no
operating system shows up for me to choose for the repair. Also, the C:
drive which contains the operating system is not shown and all the other
drives are re-lettered. Can anyone tell me how to fix this so I can do a
repair of Vista without doing a complete reinstall?

Check in your BIOS to see if the Hard Drive C: is recognised there.
If not, check for connections for, or damage to Drive.

I checked the BIOS and the Drive C: is recognized. I did a complete checkdsk
and have a clean drive. Still it doesn't show up when I try to do a repair
from the Vista installation disk. I have my computer running ok now, so I
don't have to do the repair at this time. Still, I would like to be able to
in the future.
