problem to recognize my hard drive.

The Device Manager does't recognize my slave drive
The Bios doesn't recognize my slave drive
Although that in the beginning I had full access to my hard disk
First hard disk has WinXP home and Linux (two seperate partitions), second hard disk supposed to be for storage
ASROCK (K7VT2)motherboard supports AMIBIOS
Any help is welcomed.
 
The BIOS does NOT recognize the hard drive? Check the cable... if it can't
be seen by the BIOS and cables all seem to be secure, it's usually a dead
drive.
