Problem sharing files

Dan Williams

I have a problem sharing an external usb drive.
Sharing is working on the internal drive fine. I get a permissions error
when trying to connect to the external drive. I have set permissions both in
sharing and security for 2 different users. Neither of which can connect.
The machine is ruuning xp sp3 and is up to date. The external drive is a 1tb
mybook formatted as ntfs.

Thanks
Dan

Ok, I tried this unfortuantly I still cannot connect to any shares on this
drive. I tried making a new share once I made these changes. I have set the
user to be the owner of the whole drive.

Thanks
