problem sending pop3 e-mail from outlook

I was using the outlook sending and receiving emails without any problem.
Suddenly outlook stoped sending emails, but still receiving messages
regularly.
My account setup is exactly as it should be.
I have contact my server and reported the problem, and they have run a test
and everything works fine when sending and receiving email from their outlook.
They told me that maybe my unti-virus, Norton, is causing the problem, but I
do not believe. I have disable it and tried to send e-mail, but the problem
persisted.
I have a windows xp and I am using microsoft office 2000 (outlook).
Please help me to solve this problem.

Do you get error messages when sending? If so, what are they? Also, see

for issues with Norton.
