Problem restoring pst files from disc

I seem to be having problems restoring pst files after saving them to disc.
They work after exporting them to a local drive. But once I've burned them
to disc they no longer seem to work. I've tried burning them on two
computers with different disc burning software.

I get a message such as: File Access is denied: you do not have the
permission to access the file xxx

I have also tried saving them back to the computer before importing them and
get a similar error message

You cannot access pst files from CDs - You will have to copy them back onto
the PC and remove the read-only attribute. You can then do File - Open -
Outlook Data file and will then be able to access the files.
