When I try to remove a text watermark by doing Format / Background / Printed Watermark / No watermark / OK, it does not remove the watermark
I'm using Workd 2003

Many printers have a watermarks feature. Are you sure this watermark was created in Word and not as a property in the printer settings

<-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-
Hope this helps

If you can see the watermark in Word, then it is not being added by the
printer as Dreamboat suggests. Word 2002/2003 have made it much easier to
add a watermark but somewhat more difficult to remove one. The downside to
having something done for you is that if you don't know how it was done, you
don't always know how to undo it. Despite the automation of the process, a
watermark in Word 2003 is still a graphic anchored to the header. So View |
Header and Footer, click on the graphic, and delete it. The likelihood is
that the watermark appears in only one section or one header of a section
and that you were not on the right page when you tried to remove it (or the
moon was in the wrong phase, or you sacrificed the wrong kind of animal).
