Problem receiving email

I am getting the invalid login/password pair message

Account: 'pop.freeserve.com', Server: 'pop.freeserve.com', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Invalid login/password pair', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Its OK if I check on orange webmail, but I can't seem to get anything using
Windows mail. Keeps asking me for the login and password again - I have
checked and everything is correct.

Is the problem at the server?

The problem is often from your antivirus program, especially if it's Norton,
Mcafee, or Trend. What, if any, antivirus programs do you have?

It can also be the selection for SSL. Have you tried enabling SSL?
