I have my Windows Contacts arranged alphabetical by Last Name. When I
attempt to print all my Contacts there is no option to print them
alphabetically by Last Name, so they are printed alphabetically by first
name. This is really a dumb way to print an Address Book.

Anyone have a solution to this problem?

As I've posted before, printing the contacts in an acceptable manner is
practically impossible.
Try this...
In the Contacts folder, add a column for "last name" (right-click on the
Name column header, select Last Name)
Click on the Last Name column header to sort up/down
Select & print

or....
export the contacts to a .csv file, open the .csv file with Excel, format
and print.

Sorry Dave but your suggestion just below about printing contacts by last
name first just does not work for me.

I consider it absolutely unacceptable that Microsoft cannot or will not set
the contacts list so a customer can print the list sorted by last name first.
I mean it is ridiculous that the contacts list cannot be easily printed in a
format that sorts last name first.

I long for a return to Outlook Express which was simple to use, allowed easy
gouping of names and printed in a usable fashion. Why Microsoft would take
such a long step backwards is unfathomable to me.
