Problem printing envelopes in Word using Outlook Contact List

I am a new user of Windows XP & Outlook 2003. In my "older version" ME and
Outlook 2000, I could insert an address on an envelope in Word 2000 from my
contact list in Outlook. In Word 2003 I recieve the following error: " Either
there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the
messaging request. Please run microsoft outlook and set it as the default
mail contact." When I close this box I receive another with this error:
"Logon failed. You must logon to Microsoft exchange to access your address
book." I use Outlook Express with a POP3 server for my email. I don't think
I should set outlook as my default since I am not using it for email. Can
anyone please help me fix this?

Outlook must be your default mail client to use this function.

Thanks Russ. Is this new in Outlook 2003? This worked for me in Windows ME,
Outlook 2000, and Word 2000. I used Outlook Express for my email then too.
The problem began when I upgraded to XP and Office 2003.

No. It is not new. If you were using IMO version of Outlook 2000 you were
actually using OE's transport so it might have worked.
