PROBLEM...Please Help...

Hi.

Im running xp professional, and it keeps jamming! I cant
find out why, i even spent £120 to see if they could fix
it but they couldnt!
Heres my system spec:

AMD Athlon 1.33ghz
512DDR Ram
20Gb 7200rpm Matrox Hard Drive
32x12x40 LiteOn cdrw
Netgear wireless Network card
Logitech keyboard
Cherry mouse
ATI Rage 64Mb graphics

Please can u tell me whether there is a bugger up in the
XP software, or is it driver/hardware related?

1) I don't know what you mean by "jamming" - could you elaborate - do you
mean 'freezing' or 'locking up'?

2) Spent £120 to see if *who* could fix it?!

3) Please refrain from using obscenities - it's likely to get your posts
deleted - and you barred.

4) Matrox (last I checked) made graphics cards. I assume (not that it
matters of course) you mean 'Maxtor'.

5) There is no "bugger up" in XP - it's going to be either
hardware/driver related (as you suggest) or...

6) Either virus or spyware related. Suggest you do a system wide scan
with a) an up-to-date AVP and b) Spybot (downloadable from
www.safer-networking.org)

Probably means 'hanging' Bruce. I would suggest a repair install.
