Problem opening mdb file

Hi everyone!
I have a problem opening an mdb file from explorer. When I double click on
the file I get an error message. I have Office XP 2002 in Italian so I have
to translate the message.

file not found "...mdb" or one of its components. Verify that the path and
the file name are correct and that all the necessary libraries are available.

When I open the same file directly from Access I don't get any message.

I am not sure, but are you sure you have Access as part of your Office
Suite? It is not part of most Office Suites. Also is Access registered in
Windows as the program to open MDB files? Does it have the correct path to
the Access program?
