Problem opening folders and using Save As in Word 2002

For the first time today I wasn't able to save Word documents in folders. I
can save them if I don't have to open a folder, though. I can also use Save
As for html files, as well as open folders to save html files.
Double-clicking also doesn't open the folders, nor does selecting the folder
then using the Open button.

What's going on?
