I have a 2 computers at home, one running Win2K Pro the other Win98 which
are conencted to a D-Link "Link/RX" hub. I also have a cable modem
connected to the same hub. Each computer has some shared file & printer
resources.

My problem is that neither computer can see the other's shared resources.
On each computer, the only networked resources that are visible are its own.
It doesn't appear to be a hardware problem because both computers are able
to access the cable modem that is connected to the hub.

Any suggestions?

Greetings --

On the Win2K PC, create local user account(s), with non-blank
password(s), that have the desired access privileges to the desired
shares. Log on to the other PCs using those account(s), and you will
be able to access the designated shares, provided your network is
configured properly.
