problem loading profiles

My roommate decided he would be helpful and go through the services.msc in
windows xp sp2 (Home) And disable all the Services He thought we don't use.
Great however he or I used to be able to stay logged onto the pc while the
other person was using it (Two users logged in) Now however that isn't
possible, we have to log totally out and then the other user can log in.. I
have tried restarted the terminal services, fast user switching and RPC but
terminal services can't it be started and fast user switching won't turn on
unless terminal services is on. Short of killing my roommate and reformating
any way I can fix this?

Do a system restore prior to the changes.
