problem installing XPe Tools on XP SP2 machine

I have a brand new laptop that I want to install my XPe suite on. During the
tools installation I am getting an error stating that regxpe.dll failed to
register. I have disabled DEP on the machine as well as my antivirus
software. Any suggestions?

Michael,

How about to try to register regxpe.dll manually (use regsvr32 utility). Or, better, run the registration tool through
DependencyWalker Profiling to see what's missing on your dev machine.

And please make sure you have latest WSH (5.6) engine installed.
