Problem installing x64

Hi,
I've burnt the DVD (correctly, I believe), trying to run the setup.exe I
get: "F:\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
The disc won't autoplay, am I attempting to install it incorrectly?
Is this disc bootable? The only files in the root are: autorun.inf, bootmgr,
bootmgr.efi, and setup.exe

P.S. I do have an Athlon x2 4200+ and I am currently running WinXP x86.

Here's the good news and the bad Yes, this disk is bootable. To
install Vista x64 over WinXP x86, you are going to need to boot the DVD that
you created and then do a clean install (the "update" function will be
unavailable to you anyway).

And that's the bad news -- you are going to lose ALL of your files and
settings and have a "naked" machine.

But, back to the good news, at least you now have a 64-bit operating system!
;)
