Hello,
I bought a AGP Nvidia FX 5200Plus video card and have problems installing it. My motherboard have a built in video card. Everytime I put my new nVidia card in to the AGP slot and than start my computer on the monitor doesn't show anything at all. Do I have to change anything in BIOS? Can someone help me out. Thanks

Yes . Disable onboard video in the bios. Jym

You want to check compatibility with your motherboard vendor, could be it dosn't support 8x AGP!
This is a hardware issue! Also check the video card, could be defective!
Good Luck

You have to tell the bios which card you are using, the onboard video or the
AGP video card.

Okay most everything is compatible with Nvidia cards. and even if it doesn't support 8x AGP it should be backwards compatible with 4x and I've never seen one not work with 2x before. Install the video card but leave your monitor connected to the onboard video. Go into Bios and change the primary display device from onboard to AGP. That'll do it.
