Problem in Video playing..

Hi all,
Abruptly all the media players(crystal,mp9,winamp etc)on
my computer(WinXP) have started playing video files
with jerks(some kind of speed problem in buffering). The
video plays fine in small screen size, but as soon i
switch to full screen or some higher resolution the video
starts jerking and looks like some frame rate problem.I
have tried reinstalling all the codecs , but of no use.
The dxdiag (DirectX9.0b is installed) shows directdraw is
disabled, and the option is greyed out so i cannot even
change it. Also the windows media player shows
the renderer being used is software type rather than
hardware, and this options also greyed out.

Plzz somebdy help me out..

Starting about the same time (middle of February, 2004) I started experiencing the exact same problem. If affected all video players I am using. I've tried every fix I can think of and the problem persists. Has anyone solved the problem yet?
