problem in opening office files

i wanna know how to make office 2003 "word, excel & power point" is the
default to open file when i have both office 2003 & office 2007 installed on
same computer

The two files share some registry entries and will reconfigure when run.
Essentially you change the registry entries to stop the reconfiguration
after running the Office 2003 versions - see
http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm for more detail. You may
still have to edit the file associations in Windows Explorer to ensure that
the Office 11 path rather than Office 12 path is present for each relevant
file type.

i tried file association before that & doesn't work i choose office 11 .exe
files manually but doesn't work
