Problem in importing outlook express mail massages into outlook 20

Dear experts,
I want to import my Inbox messages of Outlook express (Windows XP) into
Outlook 2007 , I did it by File > Import and Export option but my Inbox
messages (about 900) were strangely imported partially and not entirely.
I have tried to change the approach and try to use "Export messages" feature
of Outlook express and export messages into Outlook 2007 , again only first
14 messages exported and after that exporting procedure stopes without any
specific notification.
I tried to replace Outlook inbox data file with outlook express inbox data
file (.dbx) but I find out that Outlook 2007 data file format is(.pst) and I
couldn't replace it.
What can I do ?!?
 
If the Export process always quits at the same message you might want to
move that message to a different folder and see if the Export process
continues now.

Did you compact your message store first?
