problem in file

All my files got changed to something i don't even know what...example
below...can anyone tell me how to change the file back to what it should be ?
I have already reinstalled word and didn't help.

Which version of Word is this?

You are saying that it happens to all of your files? Does it make a
difference if you start Word first and then use the Open dialog box (Ctrl+O)
to open the file(s)?
