I am trying to restore data by importing the personal folder file (.pst) to
Outlook. I get an error message: This Personal Folders file (.pst) is
already in use in the current profile. Specifically I am trying to find my
Calendar information from a previous backup.

a) Just go to File - Open - Outlook Data File and open up the PST, don't
import.
b) Make sure the file doesn't have the read-only attribute set on it. If
it is on a CD/DVD, move it to the hard drive and remove the attribute.

Make sure your PST's don't both have the same name. Then open Outlook and use
File > Open to open your PST. Don't import, this has been known to
occasionally cause problems or even corruption of the PST. If you find
problems with the PST, consider running scanpst.exe to look for and repair
errors.

Let me know how you make out.
