When to to import a mpg into PP 2000, I get the following error message
"Clip gallery could not create a preview image for mpg. This may be caused
due to a missing, corrupted, or incorrect graphic filter or media player"
I have try to view the movie using mplayer2.exe and wplayer.exe, they both
had no problem showing the mpg. My operating system is Windows 2000
Service pack 4 and the Powerpoint version is 2000 SR1. Please help.

I would not try to import the MPG through clip gallery, that's for sure. Use
Insert/Movie/From File instead. Going through clip organizer/clip gallery
will just increase the path length and will cause you linking problems
later.

So try putting everything in C:\test as described in step 2 at
http://www.echosvoice.com/tshoot_video2.htm (which is the same link TAJ
mentioned a couple of days ago).
