Hi,

I have an asp page that I'd like to show shared borders, but I'd also
like it not to show up in menus. If I do all that, and add it to
Navigation view, I still keep getting the "Add this page to the
Navigation view..." message in the FP Editor, and the borders don't
show up in the browser.

Is there a setting I'm missing? I'm using FP2000, IIS 5.1

Thanks,
Warren Sirota

to tell you the truth, you'd probably be better off using the include page
component (insert/ web component/ include page).
are you sure you're adding the target page to the nav view rather than the
shared page?

Update your FP2000 w/ all SP (from Office Update at http://office.microsoft.com/ProductUpdates/default.aspx)
- earlier versions of FP2000 w/o the SP did not support .asp in nav view

Not related to the FP SE
- it's a client software update (MSO SP1 or 2) from the link in my prior post
If your MSO was updated before the SP were applied, FP was not updated
In FP use Help About to see what it says

| My FP2000 *is* updated - but do I possibly have to update my server
| extensions? Where would I go to do that? (sorry to be so clueless...)
| OfficeUpdate and WindowsUpdate both tell me I'm up to date.

Thanks. Actually, my FP was at SP-3, but I guess somehow it had gotten
messed up somewhere along the line. An uninstall/reinstall fixed it.
