Problem double clicking icons within my computer folder

Hell,

I have this problem........When I double click on any icon in the " My
Computer" folder (i.e. DVD-drive, CD-Rom drive, hard disc drive, floppy disc
etc) instead of opening these folders as normal, they open up the "Search
Results" folder instead! How do fix this so it stops doing this?
