Problem Displaying Images in Internet Explorer

I'm having a very difficult to resolve issue with WinXP and Internet
Explorer. On certain sites like Yahoo Photos or Kodak EasyShare Gallery,
pictures do not display properly in certain situations. This is not a
situation where pictures do not display at all. Some examples:

- On Yahoo Photos, I cannot see the Album Cover Pages. There is just a grey
background. Everything else works fine.

- On Kodak EasyShare Gallery, I always have to push F5 to get the pictures
to load in a SlideShow.

- On the Honda autos website, there are Interior and Exterior Photo
Galleries. I can see the thumbnails, but the pictures do not display full
size next to the thumbnails.

All of these sites work correctly on several other computers that I have
running WinXP Home and IE7. Some things I've tried to resolve the issues are:

- Deleted all Temporary Internet files.
- Reloaded Sun Java.
- Disabled Norton Internet Security, Windows Firewall, Pop-up Blocking, etc.
- Re-installed WinXP Home. I chose the Update option from my Dell OS
Re-Installation Disk so this wasn't a clean re-install. I'd like to avoid
that if possible.
- Re-installed all Windows Updates.
- Loaded Firefox browser. I was very surprised, but I had the exacy same
problems.
- Reverted to IE6.
- Ran a Registry cleaner.

None of these had any affect on this issue. I'm stumped. Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

Run DXDiag and see if it complains of uncertified drivers; try lowering
graphics hardware acceleration, etc.. Also look at the computer
manufacturer site and the graphics card manufacturer site for different
drivers. Try upgrades, reference drivers, and drivers for other model
cards till you find one that works. Do a search at
http://groups.google.com entering the game and graphics card model for
more suggestions.

Look for drivers and utilities at these sites:

http://www.voodoofiles.com/
http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

See if there's a BIOS upgrade for your system. Look at the
manufacturer's site, Compaq, PB, etc., and also at the motherboard
manufacturer's site.

Thanks for the suggestions, but they did not resolve the issue. DXDiag did
not report any problems. I have the latest BIOS and Graphics Card Drivers.

Lowering the hardware acceleration didn't help either?

Maybe it's a jscript problem.. but jscript in XP can't be repaired
without an XP repair.

Could you be blocking content through a firewall or pop-up blocker?
