When copying a large file (several megabytes) to the CD-RW, my computer most
times will stall (small files copy okay): it appears to still be working, but
nothing is happening -- the light on the CD drive has stopped blinking. When I
click "cancel" then I cannot eject the CD, even after waiting several minutes
or even an hour. The message says it can't close the file. I cannot shut down
the computer in the normal manner. The only way out (that I have found) is to
do a force shutdown and reboot. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition, on a Dell
computer with Pentium 4 processor. Does anyone have any idea what may be
causing this problem? Thanks for any help you can give.
