Problem controlling FileAs when importing contacts

Please advise how I can control the FileAs field when importing contacts
into Outlook. If I leave it blank, it will default to the Last Name
and First Name fields concatenated together without any space.

Settings for the File As field will not apply when importing Contacts.

In this case, how can I control its display format? Right now, the
First Name and Last Name fields are concatenated together without any
space which makes it very difficult to read.

The only way I know to make a global change to the File As filed is to use
code:
