Problem connecting to UltraVNC server with port < 5800 ??

I setup my UltraVNC server so that it listens at port 81 for the vncviewer client.
(By the way: port 80 for HTTP works fine).

When I tried to enter 192.168.0.10:81 in my vncviewer I get a connection failed/timeout.
This is because the vncviewer transforms the port from 81 to 5981.

How can I avoid this adding of 5900 to my port number?

According to the RealVNC FAQ you can't...

http://www.realvnc.com/faq.html#firewall

It has to be >5900...

You could do that if you use VNC through a SSH tunnel, ie. redirect the SSH port to something other
than 22...although I don't see the need to do that..
