Problem: Clicking on window doesn't bring window to front

Hello,
I need some help.
On both my work machine and my home machine, I can't seem
to get the windows hidden by other windows to come
forward to the front of the screen when I click on them
and make them the active window.
The hardware at home and at work are totally different.
The only similarities are..
* Both use Windows XP Prof.
* Both run ZoneAlarm
* Neither had this problem a month ago.

Does anyone have this problem or know what might have
caused it?

Could try "ALT+TAB" (switches active windows), if no
response, would recommend verifying your Anti-Virus
software is up-to-date w/ the latest definitions, and do
a full system scan. Even w/ ZoneAlarm, you could be
infected w/virus if your Virus software isn't current.

When a window that does not have focus is updated by its program, the
default setting prevents it from becoming the foremost (top) window,
instead, it flashes in the taskbar.
