problem: cannot access/permisson to access file

Can't access avi files? Avi's worked fine couple hours before? I had similar
problem last week, couldn't access most of items in control panel and
clock/calender? Any one know what to do? Last time i fixed it with
format+install, but i hate to do that all the time...
 
Hi

Do you remember what you were doing just before the problem started - which
app/program you were using? Try a System Restore back to a point before the
problem started.
