Problem booting Windows 2000 - Sasser worm virus

L

I sincerely hope you can help! I was making hotel
reservations on Expedia.com when I received the notice
that my computer was shutting down. I knew nothing about
checking for the Sasser worm virus at that time (2 weeks
ago). I saw the message C:\WINDOWS\System32\lsass.exe and
assumed that was the virus. I deleted that file from my
computer (a stupid thing to do)because I was in a hurry
and not thinking, I guess.

Now all I get is a blue screen when I turn my computer on--
Windows 2000 Product code HG006, on my Del Dimension, XPS
R450 Pentium II. What do I need to do to restore that
file. THANKS!!!

You will need your Windows 2000 cd. Boot from the cd and you will have the
option to run a repair setup.

Good luck.
