Hi

I have an Exchange server 2000 on a windows 2000 server.
Suddenly i have replication problem with my principal DC.
I run dcdiag on Exchange server and this is why is returned:

Starting test: Replications
[Replications Check,EXCHANGE] Inbound replication is disabled.
To correct, run "repadmin /options EXCHANGE -DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL"
[Replications Check,EXCHANGE] Outbound replication is disabled.
To correct, run "repadmin /options EXCHANGE -DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL"

So i run the repadmin command and the problem is resolved.
But the problem is that the replication goes to disable again and again and
i have to rerun these 2 commands. But the problem always come back...

When i run repadmin /showreps this is what i got:

C:\>repadmin /showreps
Default-First-Site-Name\EXCHANGE
DSA Options : DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL

The 2 commands above revome the DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL
but they always reappeared

Could you help me please?

This post looks familiar. Was is posted anywhere else or just in this group?

Some questions in order to better assist:
Is Exchange installed on your DC?
In your replication errors you provided above, is EXCHANGE the name of the
DC?
How many DCs do you have?
How many sites?
Do you ONLY use the internal DNS addresses in IP properties on your DCs and
client machines?
Can you post an unedited ipconfig /all from this DC and of one of it's
partner in it's own location as well as from a DC in another location
please?

Thank you,
