Hi,

I am using microsoft excel 2002 , Oracel ODBC Driver ( 8.01.07.00) & trying
to connect to Oracle database 9i. it is getting connected also it shows me a
list of public synonyms ( owner : ALL)

but I can n't access public synonym from add table but I can access public
synonym from microsoft query.

Can you please help me

This is just a WAG, but check your Oracle driver. The version number you
posted kind of looks like an Oracle 8 driver.

Also you have posted to a MS Access news group. You might get a better
response if you posted to one of the microsoft.public. excel groups.

Hope this points you in the right direction

Thanks for your mail. I will post it to right group.

Yes I have checked ODBC Driver version yes it is Oracle 8 Driver.

It is wage that when I use SQl Query It just works fine..but when I try to
add tables , it says can't access table <PUBLIC.sysnonym name>

Thanks
