Probel Shutting Down WIndows (Turning off Computer)

G

Guest

I installed Norton Systemworks and personal firewall (2005 edition) this
weekend and ever since I downloaded these items onto my PC my windows will
not shut down (and turn my computer off) when I click "shut down" from the
"start" menu. The shut down scream appears and reads "Windows is shutting
down" but it never does, nor does my PC turn off. I am very concerned about
this and don't wan't to have to keep pressing the switch button on my power
surge extension cord in order to completely shut down my PC. Please help!!

You can also use the Symantec Automated Diagnostic tool in the support
center to ensure that your Symantec products are correctly installed.
