Hi,

We have the same problem.

I logged a call with Microsoft yesterday so hopefully
I'll have an answer soon. I'll post it when I do.

Regards

Daniel.

I have seen these:

http://cert.uni-
stuttgart.de/archive/ntbugtraq/2003/03/msg00054.html

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=327984

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=814770

Hope they work for you - they did not do it in my case,
although the issue seemed to start right about the time of
the install of the Blaster patch. I have no intention of
uninstalling the patch though... I will keep looking for
other solutions and if I find another one, I'll post it
here too.

Hi,

That's quite interesting, as you know I had a call logged
with Microsoft for the same thing but they didn't come to
the same conclusion.

We found that if I disabled the Sophos Anti-Virus
software it would also fix the problem.

I'm now trying to speak to Sophos to see if they can do
anything about it.

I'll speak to my contact though and ask them about the
patch.

Thanks

No, I don't have an antivirus on this server.

This server is on until 5 months but it's recently I
have
This problem. I think it's on of the Windows Update
Security Fix but I don't kown witch one.

-----Original Message-----
Do you have antivius software running on this server?
If
you do, then disable it and see if this problem goes
away.

With a brand new user, I can log on a terminal server
but, when I log off, It's take 60 sec before the log
off
was complete, I receive an error on the Event Viewer

"Windows cannot unload your registry class file. If
you
have a roaming profile, your settings are not
replicated.
Contact your administrator.

DETAIL Access is denied. , Build number ((2195)). "

After that, I can not delete the local profile of this
user because two files are still in use: UsrClass.dat
and
UsrClass.dat.LOG.

On the usrenv.log, I have always this error:

As an update, I called Microsoft back and asked about
this hotfix. Was told that it was very unlikely you had
this yet as it is still in development.

The MS tech went away and looked into it and then sent me
through this hotfix and another one.

I only tried installing 827825 and this seems to have
fixed the problem.

It's a bit disappointing that your problem was identified
as needing this hotfix but I had to go and ask for it but
I'm just happy it's working.

Thanks

Where is 827825? It's not a Q article; I get an error if I try to
look at it on support.M$.com.

Hi,

It hasn't made it as a KB yet. This is a really early
hotfix. You will have to call MS (free of charge) and ask
for the hotfix. They will ask why you think you need it,
but if you do have this problem then you should be able
to do that.

Daniel.

Interesting. I just called M$ and they have nothing referencing the
number "827825". I opened a new incident and will make them fix this.

This is a bug in the blaster patch ... see this link on Citrix site for more info. http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=1&threadID=41552&start=0&tstart=0 .... Apparently locks registry so profile saves fail (after 60 seconds of retries). MS have released two updates Q827825 which is an updated Installer and Q828153 which is an updated Spooler. The installer one worked for me ... you may need either or both. Nothing in Technet yet so you'll have to phone MS to get the patches.
