PROB. W/ KEY SHORTCUTS

I CAN'T USE CERTAIN KEYS BECAUSE THEY OPEN OR CLOSE DOC.
E OPENS A WINDOW AND D CLOSES A WINDOW AND OTHERS DON'T
WORK...PLEASE HELP!! OTHERWISE I HAVE TO TYPE LIKE THIS...
 
Start > Control Panel >Keyboard.
Make sure you are using the correct layout (probably US
104- key).

It sounds as though one of your windows keys is stuck (the two keys
with the Microsoft flag). WK-E opens Windows Explorer, WK-D shows the
desktop. Is that what you mean?

This could be either a hardware or a software problem. After you've
checked out actual physical sticking (I'd tap every key to be sure,
not just the Windows keys), you should try a different keyboard if one
is available. Once hardware is eliminated, I guess system restore
would be the way to go, choosing a point before the problem began.
Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.
