Private Profiles

I have a problem retrieving data from crashed Hard Drives from profiles
marked "Private" (in Windows XP systems).

If a hard drive is damaged or unbootable, it is often possible to
attach it as a secondary drive to another PC (Windows 2K or XP) and
rescue data if the disk is still readable.

However, it seems that if a user profile has been marked "Private" on
the original system, that you just cannot access these folders in this
way.

Is there some way to this?

Thanks

It's a matter of file and folder permissions.
It can be because they were marked "private" - or just because that is the
way the file and permissions were allowed to properly be set.

Important information was left out.
You are getting a message aren't you?
Would it be "access denied"?

A google search for the exact "error" message and the operating system in
