Private Files and Folders

I had a failure on my hard drive and the only way i can
access it is as a slave now that have a new one as master
with a new copy of windows on it. I am trying to get
access to "My Documents" on my old drive but it says
Acess Denied as i set my user account on it to have the
files and folders as private. (an option when setting a
password on a user account)
Is there anyway to disable this feature so i can get all
my files back?
