I just tried it. Expires in 15 days then $30 to upgrade. I had it clean
everything then I ran Spider. There was still a lot of crap left that
Privacy Eraser wasn't effective with. Worth a look because of all the
options.

I haven't tried Spider as yet - I used W98 for a long time and would always
manually clean up the IE cache from dos. I just got an XP machine and am
trying IE Privacy Keeper:

It is true freeware and has an inbuilt overwriter and from what I can see
from a cursory look it wipes all very well including locked out index.dat
files. If you have time could you review with respect to Spider as you did
Internet Eraser. Thanks for your time. If you or anyone else is interested
