Wayne, thanks for the reply but it didn't solve the problem. We don't want
the default to be landscape as it affects all the other programs and the
printer prints to a specific printer anyway as I work in a school and rooms
always print to the printer in the classroom by default in active directory.
The problem only occures in Access. If you set the page to landscape in
page setup, you then need to go to file/print and then properties. the
landscape radio button is ticked already and you just click OK and then
print. it will then print in landscape. if you just click the printer icon
or go file/print and then OK it will print in portrait.
Excel and Word do not do this. They print landscape just by clicking the
printer icon.
This problem has been driving the teacher mad for months.
